Tour d'Azerbaidjan 2016
The road race can rightly be considered the hallmark of the country! Tour d’Azerbaidjan 2016 will be held on May 4-8.
The cycling race growing popularity was largely boosted by the serious organizational activity by the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the National Olympic Committee held with the assistance of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2013. Baku Synergy Cycling Project, which is among the favorites of the Tour, is also an important contributor in promoting cycling in Azerbaijan.
